Health Economics
Applies economic theory and empirical techniques to the analysis of health and health related decisions and policies in the health care sector. Issues covered will vary from year to year, but may include determinants of individuals' health and health care decisions, health care markets, health care finance/funding issues, health insurance markets, physician agency, or the economics of risky health behaviours.
Prerequisites: EC270 or EC260; EC295 or EC255/BU255; EC281 or permission of the department.
Exclusions: EC310C.
